FR // Quoi de mieux que le temps pour digérer et assumer encore un peu mieux ses racines ? Catherine Baseball le prouve avec « TIME BENDS », leur 4ème et nouvel opus teinté plus que jamais d'une décennie dans laquelle ils sont nés, les 90's. 9 titres écrits consciencieusement et d’une précision hors du commun. Les refrains rentrent dans la tête et n'en sortent que quand ils le veulent bien, tandis que les murs de guitares passés en 3D ont pris plusieurs épaisseurs. Mettez trois décennies de punk rock, une pointe de Buckley, deux trois touches de math rock, on filtre ce qui aurait pu lui rester d'ennuyeux et ça donne un album parfaitement explosif pour attaquer la décennie.

Catherine Baseball proves it with their 4th and new record “TIME BENDS” which comes straight from the 90's. 9 tracks precisely and conscientiously composed. Every chorus hits you like a football anthem while the guitar walls have taken several thicknesses. Put three decades of punk rock, add a hint of Buckley, mix it with mathrock, filter what could have remained boring and it gives you a perfectly explosive album to start the decade.
